Soho Penthouse

This generous terrace adjoins the main living spaces of this triplex apartment and was designed both as a space to use as well as to be viewed from within. Outside the entry foyer is a row of Specimen Pear trees with unbeatable autumn color set amongst a cloudy Boxwood hedge. This central planting bed is integrated with a linear water feature clad in hand-made clay panels that soften the noise of the busy Soho streets below.

To either side are the lounging and dining zones, each enveloped with a unique mix of perennials and shrubs that immerse the space in seasonal interest, while the incredible views both up and downtown are retained. Plinths with integrated lighting punctuate each corner and highlight a collection of specimen succulents. These plants enjoy the winter indoors and return to the garden each spring.
